  Exactly, I don't want to make a point to them. If I make a point it's to state I want nothing to do with the religion anymore. I'm in my twenties.

  Play by their rules? I'm still a little confused about how this process works. It seems like you would just give the elder the letter then leave and never have to come back or deal with them again.

  I met two Mormons today

  while going on my walk this morning, i saw two female members of the mormon faith coming towards me.

  as they got closer they initiated the conversation.. i stopped getting into arguments a long time ago with people about beleifs, so we just had a friendly chat, in the end of our conversation, they gave me a card.

  do you know what that card was about?.

  Thats interesting. One time a jehovah witness knocked on my door, the guy was so nervous that he gave the wrong invitation spill for the memorial and handed me the invitation and mentioned the special talk.

  i think of how judgmental we were as witnesses.

  "worldly ones" were almost as bad as disfellowshipped ones but not as bad as "apostates"..

  Is it true that elders lurk the forums?

  it seems like it is one huge contradiction.

  but are they doing it for the purpose to try to guess exactly who in the congregation is on ex jw sites?

  The Facebook thing is totally understandable. Even more so now that jw are getting accounts on the site, I'm just tempted to unfriend all of them.

  Oh wow I never would have assumed an elder would do such a thing. Just to out somebody if that's the case then it seems like there are more elders aware of what's really going on within the organization.
